Blocked User Visual Suggestion

Description

Let's be honest. Art and Stock theft has been a major pain for a long time here on :devart:. The current method of blocking users is useful for preventing any unwanted communication, but it leaves a gaping hole when it comes to blocking unwanted access to our art and stock. Despite being blocked, a user can still access your full profile including all art and stock that you may have available to download. This means they can still download, use, redistribute, or even sell images you have posted. Not to mention the fact that they can still have access to your journals and information that you don't want them to have access to. I'm honestly really surprised that something like this hasn't been put in place yet.

This suggestion, if implemented, would completely block access to your entire gallery/profile by unwanted members. They would not have access to your journals, deviations, favorites, comments, and so on. It also should be available to both regular and premium members.

As a stock artist, this would be doubly useful when it comes to blocking those members that continue to ignore our stock rules completely from viewing or downloading our stocks.

I forgot to include this in the suggestion, but when it comes to gallery searches by the blocked member, your deviations should come up with a thumbnail sized version of the "Deviously Denied" logo in the preview image. It would be similar to the thumbnail seen when a deviation is in storage.

:star: Note: Replace all words using "Banned" to "Blocked" as you read them until I can edit this later on this evening.

:bulletyellow: Other Points:

1. One way to avoid the "log-out" method to go around this idea is to use the currently in place "Manage Deviations" method where you edit your privacy settings on your deviations to "Members Only and Discourage Sharing"

2. Unless you're a Class A Psychic, the prevention of the "new account" problem is impossible to determine or predict. This suggestion is for the problem members you already know about. The only way to avoid it is to block an ip address and ips can be changed.

The stock image seen in this visual suggestion is my own stock available here:

Yes, the thumbnail above is a tornado. I was taking stock photos during the tornado warnings. Such is my love of stock and storms. Don't worry though, I've had training. I was in a safe-ish location away from the storm and well aware of what was going on around me. No one who has not been trained in storm chasing or have a background in meteorology should ever take that kind of risk, especially for stock.

You are asking for block evasion to become the norm on dA and literally for the admins to get rid of the block evasion rule in practice.

Also there are so many ways that the save image function in the browser can be used. Any script that blocks it can be bypassed with very little effort.
